How do I pause or cancel my subscription?

Go to the Account section in the top right hand corner. Once you have logged in, click “subscriptions”. You will then see a list of your active and inactive subscriptions. Click ‘view’ next to the active subscription you wish to amend. You will then see the options to either pause or cancel. A cancellation will be permanent, but you can choose to suspend indefinitely or for up to 3 months. After the 3 months is up, your subscription will automatically restart.

Alternatively, you can restart whenever you are ready by returning to this same page.

If you have any problems, or wish to give feedback, please contact us via the “Get In Touch” section at the bottom of our home screen.

Can I change the date my monthly subscription is taken?

Yes, we can do this! Simply email where our customer service team will be able to change this for you.

Please note, this will change the date your subscription is taken each month going forward.

I would like to upgrade or downgrade my subscription, how do I do this?

Our subscriptions are completely flexible, so if you’d like to change the number of people on your subscription, or add a new product please see the steps below.

If you would like to add a new product:

  1. Log in to your account in the top right corner
  2. Go to “My Subscription” down the left side
  3. Under “Subscription Totals” you will see the option to upgrade or downgrade – click this button
  4. This will take you to the product page on the website
  5. Go to the product you would like to add, change to the desired number of people and press the green “add to my existing subscription” button
  6. You’ll then have the option to add a coupon
  7. Once you have pressed the green “add” button, this will be added to your existing subscription and a box will appear giving you the option to add another tube and tin for the new product.

If you are adding or removing people on your current subscription:

  1. Log in to your account in the top right corner
  2. Go to “My Subscription” down the left side
  3. Under “Subscription Totals” you will see the option to upgrade or downgrade – click this button
  4. This will take you to the product page on the website
  5. On the product page of your desired gummy, change the + or – signs to reflect how many people you would like on your subscription in total (including anyone who is already on the subscription)
  6. Press the “add to cart” button, followed by the “checkout” button
  7. Please note, if you are adding people to your subscription, the cart will reflect the price difference.
  8. After pressing checkout, a box will pop up asking if you would like to combine your subscriptions. If you would like to receive your subscription at the same time of the month as usual, press “add”
  9. This will then be added to your original subscription, and no payment will be taken
  10. You will be given the option to request more tubes or tins on the next page
  11. Please be aware this will add to your original subscription, not replace it. To fix this, head back to the “My Subscription” page, and press the “x” to the side of the product you no longer need.

If you need any further assistance with this, please email where our customer service staff will be happy to help.

Can Vegum products be taken during pregnancy / breastfeeding?

Our Multivitamin for Vegans contains a fine blend of vitamins and minerals, which are more likely to be deficient in a plant-based diet. However, they are not specifically designed to be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and therefore if this applies to you, we recommend you supplement according to the guidance of your doctor or pharmacist. Our Iron and DHA gummies are safe for pregnant or breastfeeding people to take, but you should always consult your physician first.

Are Vegums products suitable for children?

Yes! Many vegan parents have told us that they worry that their child is not getting enough of the vitamins and minerals they need, but really struggle to get them to take vitamin tablets. Vegums turn a daily chore into a treat, and not just for children; I mean who wouldn’t rather chew a delicious gummy bear than swallow a pill?

Vegums have been specially designed to allow a simple dosage of ONE gummy bear for children age 3, while children 4+ and adults take TWO – perfect for all the family!

Do Vegums products contain sugar?

Each gummy bear contains a pinch of sugar: 0.7g (a sixth of a teaspoon), which is also the same quantity as the sugar in a chewable vitamin.

Both our Omega-3 and Iron gummies contain natural beet sugar, whilst our Multivitamin contains unrefined cane sugar.

Why doesn’t The Multivitamin for Vegans contain the full range of vitamins?

A plant-based diet is usually packed full of essential vitamins and minerals, particularly vitamin A, B & C. However, some vitamins are difficult to get from plants, and are largely present in meat and dairy products, such as vitamin D, B12, iodine and more. For this reason, a standard multivitamin would give you too much of what you already have and too little of what you really need.

Thankfully our Vegums pharmacists have tailored a blend of vitamins that perfectly compliments a plant-based diet; easing-off on those that you get plenty of, while loading-up on the ones that tend to be absent.
And if that’s not enough, they taste delicious!

Why do your Fish-Free Omega-3 gummies only contain DHA?

EPA is much more difficult to find in a vegan form, so our creators decided to stick to DHA rich algae oil to keep it in line with our ethics.

DHA is also the most important omega-3 fatty acid in your body. It’s a key structural component of your brain, helping improve brain power and concentration, it improves eyesight, and DHA can even help reduce the risk of heart disease.

Do Vegums products contain gelatine?

Absolutely not! We use pectin (from citrus fruits) as our gelling agent. Along with all our other ingredients, it’s totally vegan.

How did you get a vegan version of vitamin D3?

Vitamin D3 is usually extracted from lanolin (the oil that coats sheep’s wool) for use in supplements or fortification. Recently a method of extracting vitamin D3 from lichen (a sort of hybrid between a fungus and algae or bacteria) has been made available. It’s taken us a while to get our hands on it but we’ve finally added it into our new and improved vegan multivitamin.

What should I do if my child / pet / partner eats too many supplements?

Although we have never known anyone to become ill from taking too many Vegums, we always advise that you stick to the recommended dose and seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist if you know someone who has taken too many of any product.

The Multivitamin for Vegans contains mainly water-soluble vitamins, which are easily removed from the body in urine if too much is consumed so these shouldn’t cause a problem. The only exception to this is vitamin D, which is fat-soluble and if taken at a high dose for a prolonged period of time can become harmful to the body. Taking 60,000 IU of Vitamin D a day for several months has been shown to cause toxicity. This is the equivalent of taking 150 Vegums every day for several months.

Our Iron gummies contain 7mg each, so it’s important that you stick to the recommended dose as iron is stored in the body. According to The Department of Health and Social Care, you should not regularly be supplementing more than 17mg of iron per day. The tolerable upper limit for a one-off intake is slightly higher at 20mg, however this level of dosage is when you might see side-effects such as constipation, nausea and stomach pain. Extremely high doses can be fatal, so keep out of reach of children.

It is hard to define a tolerable single upper limit for Omega-3, but prolonged high intake of fatty acids (DHA, EPA or ALA) can increase risk of cardiovascular disease. It is recommended that supplemental intakes of DHA alone up to about 1 g/day, or 5g/day of DHA and EPA combined, do not raise safety concerns for the general population. It is therefore advised not to regularly exceed this. The dietary recommendations for EPA and DHA based on cardiovascular risk considerations for adults are between 250 and 500 mg/day is sufficient.

Buying from us

Can I just try the Vegums products?

Yes, there are no commitments. Simply pause or cancel your subscription at any time through the Account section on the top tool-bar of our home page. You could also buy a “One Time Purchase” pack if you just want to try them or buy them for someone as a gift.

What’s your return and refund policy?

We’re confident you’ll love your Vegums, but if you have a problem with your order then we’ll sort it as quickly as we can.

Unfortunately as Vegums are a consumable we cannot accept returns unless the product arrives to you in a state unfit for consumption. If this is the case, please contact us using the “Get In Touch” section at the bottom of our home screen and we’ll either send a replacement or a refund ASAP.

If you have any other feedback for us after receiving your order we’d be really grateful to hear it!

Can the bags go in home composting?

The wrappers we use are plastic-free, cellulose bags, made from wood-pulp. They’re 100% biodegradable and can be thrown straight in your compost bin along with your potato peelings. They are also suitable to be used in vermicomposters.

To speed up the process, we recommend that you cut them into smaller pieces with a pair of scissors.

Are the tubes biodegradable?

Yes! The tube that your first order arrives in is fully biodegradable and recyclable. You can re-use the tube in a number of ways, just follow the guide here.

Once you’re done with your tube, you can put it in your recycling bin, or plant some flowers in it, then plant the tube in the ground. It will naturally biodegrade and become one with your garden.
